Blood Flow Effects on Hearing
Roberta Singer
The link between healthy blood flow and hearing preservation is evident. Inadequate blood flow in the body’s vessels can wreak havoc on organs, including the ears. The delicate hair cells of the inner ear are easily damaged by reduced oxygen supply with hearing loss and tinnitus possibly resulting. Conditions including heart disease and diabetes are common causes of hearing difficulties. Staying healthy by exercising, eating properly and taking prescriptive medicines to insure healthy hearing is vital.
